With spring coming, I thought it would be fun to make some beautiful and colorful flowers.

These craft stick flowers are super easy and can be made by kids of different ages. They’d even make a cute Mother’s Day gift!

So start off by eating a bunch of ice cream and save the popsicle sticks and make this pretty flower popsicle stick craft to brighten up a rainy day!

How to Make Spring Flower Popsicle Stick Craft

For this craft, you can use either popsicle sticks that you’ve saved or craft sticks that you’ve bought. There are also green craft sticks available if you don’t want to paint the craft sticks green on your own.

Directions

1. If you don’t have any green popsicle sticks, use green paint to paint your popsicle sticks.

 

2. Place a dot of glue onto the end of a popsicle stick with the glue gun.

3. Attach a flower gem.

4. Repeat this step for the remaining flowers. (For this project, we used about 10 flowers for the pot.)

5. Add sand to the pot, leaving a little room at the top. *If there’s a hole at the bottom of the flower pot, place something on top of the hole to keep the sand from falling through. This could be a piece of paper, paper towel, etc.

6. Stick flowers into the pot and arrange them like a bouquet. 

Optional: It would also be a fun idea to have your kids paint the flower pots before creating the bouquet!
