How to Make 4th of July Rocket Toilet Paper Roll Craft

For this craft, you can use either popsicle sticks that you’ve saved or craft sticks that you’ve bought. There are also green craft sticks available if you don’t want to paint the craft sticks green on your own.

 

What You Need For This 4th of July Rocket Toilet Paper Roll Craft

Optional:  If you want a taller rocket, you can use a paper towel roll instead of a toilet paper roll.  

Optional:  Use red and yellow tissue paper in the back to make the rocket look like there is flame coming out while it’s flying.

1. Start by painting the toilet paper blue. Let the paint dry completely before you work with it more.

2. While you wait for the paint to dry, you can go ahead and cut or punch the stars out of paper.

3. Once the paint has dried, apply a small amount of glue on a star and press it on the paper roll. Repeat until your toilet paper roll is filled with stars.

4. Cut 10-12 inch long strips of white and red tissue paper.

5. Apply glue on one end of the tissue paper strip and press it inside the toilet paper roll. Change between white and red color until you complete the circle.

6. Cut a piece of string and use scotch tape to attach the string to the inside of the toilet paper roll.
